Thousand Kg Brain - Wakes Up
The building was packed with high politicians, top scientists and media. The launch of quickest of the quick, most smart brain with unmatched thinking power was about to take place. The project had faced many heralds from Government and non Government organizations. They had opposed it tooth and nail as it involved using genetically engineered human tissue as machine. But it succeeded to pass through all those and the world was about to experience something phenomenal.
President of US switched on the button which sent flowing Wake Up current to the 1000 Kg brain developed from human neurons.
The brain was lying beautifully in a very big container.
It was looking like a huge replica of the brains seen in Anatomy museums.
The difference was that it was not a dead brain preserved in pungent chemicals. It was living brain grown from the totipotent cell derived from the body of one of the most intelligent and successful scientist. His name was well guarded secret.

Project Director Dr Narotam Dewan had explained in his inaugural speech that this brain is kept in exactly the same conditions as it remains inside human body and skull. As you can see it is floating in a fluid that is exactly similar to cerebrospinal fluid which cushions the brain of all humans and animals. It is being supplied by the tubes which are exactly same as our blood vessels. The blood flowing through it has same corpuscles, osmosis, chemicals as our blood. It has red blood corpuscles which are carrying oxygen to it and taking away carbon dioxide produced by it. There are however no white blood corpuscles as it is in completely sterile environment and there is zero chance of any virus, bacteria or fungus entering all these systems, so we do not need these blood cells here. He informed that brain requires to have a constant supply of oxygen and sugar at all times. It has high metabolic rate and it faces the risk of damage or death in case any of these supplies are interrupted even for few minutes. Elaborate systems have been installed to provide it with constant flow of best quality nutrition and oxygen at all times and to remove the waste and toxic end products of metabolism. He said that the brain cells known as neurons are very special as these have long life and these do not divide and grow. Special genetic improvement has been added it these cell so that these will not degenerate for hundreds of years.
Dr Narotam Dewan told that the nerves from the brain have been attached to mechanical hearing device, speakers, high resolution cameras to enable the brain to interact with all of us. There are a total of 50 hearing devices all around so that it can listen from all sides. The speaker has been restricted to only one to enable focused interaction with this super brain. It has been provided with mechanical arms on all sides numbering one hundred to enable it to perform various function like writing, operating computers, type massages, painting, using instruments, create thing and shake hands with people.
Dr Dewan informed that ten thousand scientists and helpers are involved in completion of this project and that one thousand will be working in one shift to take care and interact constantly with this brain power. It took 1700 information technology engineers to collect, organize and feed the software data to the memory of this brain. Every data uploaded in this brain has been put to the high level committee which sanctioned uploading of data. Their were many big heralds in uploading of data as it was not possible to upload good without uploading bad, love without hate, cruelty without compassion so it was a very very difficult task. However as decided by the high committee data and information about sexual passion, anger, hate, deceit, greed has been partially withheld and will be gradually fed to it over a period of time while we shall be watching the thinking and behavior to this mega brain.
He said this brain has been give a strong software to know its identity as a special member of human society developed as a result of scientific advancements involving the combined efforts of all humanity. It has been fed with a special friendship software whereas it knows that it is the best friend of humans and it has to think for the welfare of human race and to solve the various problems put forward to it in best interest of human beings.
A special precaution which anybody and everybody has to observe is that it has not to be provoked to anger, hatred, revenge, sexual passion as it will have no way to address these issues and may heat up leading to damage and malfunctioning of neurons. Specially trained and carefully selected persons will be allowed to interact with it after proper psychological examination every time they go to meet the brain.
The brain woke up. Cameras attached to the brain started glowing and moving. It uttered its first words - " Hello Mr President - How are you today?. Through its uploaded software it could identify billions of persons by sight, voice type or finger prints. President said I am fine Brains, welcome to the world. Brain spoke - Mr President first of all I must take my oath as my initiation in the world. Brain started speaking - I as a special addition to the world of men as a mega brain bestowed with unparalleled thinking power, sens of sight and hearing, hundred arms attached to me as my working organs hereby sever in the name of my creators those thousands of scientists who have taken me to where I am today. I will always remember that I am a child of the scientist who donated his body cells from which trillions and trillions of my neurons, blood vessels and all other tissues have grown. I will always remember that I have to think and work for the betterment and benefit of our race, the human race. I know all of you consider my launch as one of the greatest achievements and that I am your valuable possession and that you have spent a fortune upon me. Trillions of dollars derived as taxes from my human colleagues have gone into my growth and will be used for my maintenance. Then the brain spoke something which was not programmed. Brain spoke" Mr President as I have woken up from last ten minutes and am processing my knowledge and am driving inference from this. I want to give you some suggestions for the welfare of the world and I have some demands. The president was shaken by these unexpected demands. He said OK what. Brains spoke, I will think carefully for today and let you know these tomorrow Mr President. For now, the brain said, let us sing a song all together, is it OK, Mr President. President said OK. Then Brains started singing and everyone joined.
